Before noon PT, I was upset that Cox cable won't show me the National (or Bay Area, for that matter) Pac-12 Networks feed. Now I'm grateful that Cox is preventing me from watching the carnage.
If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)

A day late and a dollar short. Much better in the second half (with about a minute left, we outscored them in the half 45 - 39), but so putrid was play in the first half that even with the much improved half, it is still a 20+ point blow-out.

I expected Stanford to lose but not to be blown off the court basically from the opening tip. This team has really cratered over the last two weeks and it wouldn't surprise me at all if they do not get an NIT bid, in which case I don't think Muir has any choice but to replace Dawkins. But he's surprised me before and he may do it again.
So disappointing and depressing to see them play their worst at the end of the season.

The NIT bid or no bid question will be interesting. I'm with WinFlop, if we don't get that, there should be a presser. I'm hoping that there's one called for tomorrow morning...
