As for Muirs' comments, I too was surprised to hear he thought we had a patH

I wasn't surprised in the least by his comments.  On a factual basis he is right, and he should know since he sits on the selection committee.  However I think he should have shown an element of realism and leveled with the audience about the likelihood of it happening.  By not doing so, I think he came off as less credible.  But with this weekend's sweep I'm now preparing myself mentally for another post-NIT excuse-making press conference.
