How likely is he to return to Stanford for his final year? Are the offers too good pass up this time around?
We heard in a recent ESPN broadcast that he's gone. The source is reliable.

I would think he is. Not just for the money reasons, but also to get out from under NCAA restrictions and free up time to train for 2016. Like a lot of potential Olympians who are planning to either redshirt or stop out completely.

Because they're so incredibly good that he won't make the team or because they're so incredibly bad they won't make the Olympics?

We lost to Honduras in the CONCACAF semis, I think. We play Colombia in the CONCACAFCONMEBOL play-off in March, with a home/away series.
