Patrick Rodgers has completed his tournament at -12 and is currently tied for sixth.  Only one player behind him has yet to finish, but regardless it would appear that he will have a very, very nice start to the new PGA Tour year.

Maverick McNealy tied for 1st yesterday at the US Collegiate Championship.  he had a short putt power lip on the last hole.  I followed him most of the day.  it was a very effortless looking 67.  of the 4 birdies I saw, only 1 was outside 4 feet.  it looks like he has a game that will transition well to the tour (fades it, hits it long enough, tidy wedge player, good distance control, great demeanor etc).
