Based on this story and the admission of Ben Edwards... Few programs are going to take three Safeties in a class, and it seems Reid and Edwards are considered better Safety prospects than Farrar. Some project him as an OLB, but does he have the frame to add the weight needed for 3-4 OLB? In other words, might there be another category added to the admissions tracker for "committed, admitted, but still not coming" ? Could admission be denied to someone when the real issue is that a more coveted player becomes available?
Doesn't it seem really doubtful any kid would commit to Stanford so early, from the same high school as Henry Anderson, unless he was an admissions lock? Whatever the case, I'm going out on a limb and suggesting Justin Reid will receive word of his admission on his visit this weekend, and sign with Stanford.
