Did Stanford miss Andrew Luck? Maybe, but the fact is Stanford went to two Rose Bowls without Luck and none with him. So too could it be similar with Peat.
The plan has always been to let Murphy play LT after Peat moves on. Murphy and Tucker were both 5 star recruits.
As for chemistry, sure it is important, but so too is physical ability. Caspers has been the weakest link on the OL. He is the only guy who ever gets subbed among the starters and he's put some really bad stuff on video. Sure it's possible Caspers remains the starter, but I can't imagine Bloomgren isn't going to give other guys a chance to supplant him.
