I dunno about wise, but the committee wasn't wrong to include Ohio State--but if they ranked Bama #1 and Ohio State #4, then their judgment was a little off.  The gap between Oregon and FSU was far greater, and that had the feel of a #1 vs. #25 game.  Then again, maybe TCU isn't that great, and Ole Miss happens to be a very mediocre $EC team.
