It certainly seemed like it. Though, honestly, I wonder how much of that is on him and how much is the playcall being "throw this one to Montgomery". It seems more likely that it's the former, but I saw him hitting his third read on plays against UCLA, if he can do it why wouldn't he do it all the time? It's so weird.
