Get back to Power Football, fast. Stanford's success during the BCS era was largely the result of being physically dominant with their OL, rushing the ball MANY times, grinding time off the clock to minimize the number of plays, and taking advantage of their opponent's impatience. When you are the bigger, stronger, more physical team, you want to keep it simple and brutal. Statistics prove this to be true. Brian Burke of Advanced NFL Stats said this: "Football is funny that way. If you can assure yourself three and a half yards on every running play, you'll be unstoppable."
