I am really hoping Chryst will be the starter next year.

As long as the cause is not an injury to Hogan, this would be a fantastic outcome. If Chryst is able to prove himself enough to unseat a two-time Pac12 champion winning QB with 30+ starts under his belt, we'd be in great shape. But I highly doubt Shaw will pull the string based on practice reps performance when he has a starting QB with 20+ wins and a decent career record.
