More excellent game analysis by VG. Â I too thought it was a remarkably ugly, though decisive, victory. Â UCLA\'s pressure defense (you could see the Pat Summitt influence) was fairly effective against the Cardinal for several stretches and will give Tara something to work on with the team. Â Inconsistent PG play still makes Stanford vulnerable to that style. Â Hopefully by March Toni will have increased her ratio of flashes of brilliance to bonehead freshman mistakes & Mel can contribute as well.
