Good comments by all, but I'll repeat my question: What is a reasonable expectation for Trent Irwin's true freshman year?
I would be thrilled if he could match the first year numbers (redshirt or not) of Troy Walters or Ty Montgomery. And then there are the trickier-to-measure numbers, such as his effect on the production of the other WRs, TEs and RBs. As teams start to scheme to stop Irwin, that will be a real positive for our offense.
I'll stick my neck out and say that expecting 50+ receptions, 500+yards and 6+ TDs from Irwin is flat-out not realistic. For a variety of reasons, freshman wide receivers don't do things like that at Stanford.

If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)
