Quote:Honestly I really don't care how ex Stanford assistants do one way or the other when they leave, and oddly enough I really don't pull for Vanderbilt in any way. Even more oddly enough, I wouldn't mind seeing Ole Miss do well. Of of my son's closest friends goes there. Nice kid; I envy his time in The Grove.
While I don't particularly follow them, I will be annoyed if we lost a perfectly good coach if (a) our replacement coach is not up to snuff and (b) that coach fails in their next position. While we were in the midst of B.uddy and H.arris hell, I was really pissed that the ND fams were hatting on Ty so badly. It seemed a tragedy that Stanford would lose the coach who brought us back to the top of the Pac10 and have him not even succeed after moving on.
I will admit a soft spot in my heart for Greg Roman. His creative offenses brought me so many moments of pleasure that I feel indebted to him and hope he gets his shot at a head coaching position.
