Stanford is missing out on some brothers of current players who appear to be excellent recruits.  Christian Rector (presumably Michael's brother) is a pretty highly rated OLB/DE and is committed to the Toejams.  Stanford could have used him, but his self-reported GPA wasn't in the ballpark.  

I hope Christian Brandt-Sims is able to buck the trend next year.  He looks like a good one.

Spurred my curiosity, but I wonder how close brothers tend to be, academically speaking, in general?  I remember my brother and I were 20 points apart on the old 1600 scale, and my two sons were 40 points apart on the 2400 scale.
