California-based high school students are far less likely to be admitted to Low APR U or UCLA than they were a decade or three ago.  In part, more applicants.  In part, the UC's are starving for out-of-state tuition dollars.  The UCLA admission rate is far lower for California high school students than for non-California students (although about the same for international students).
