Worst moment of the game?  Sara James brain-lock technical foul in front of Missy, slamming the ball to the floor after getting called for an obvious over the back foul.

99% of me agrees with this.  1% of me understands and forgives.  It was Missy, after all...

Is there some ancient curse of which we have run afoul that means we are doomed to have Missy follow us wherever we go?  There are 32 games being played all around the country...and she just happens to end up in Ames, Iowa, reffing OUR game...?  ???  Really...?

[Although, to be fair, she seemed to do a decent job today...]

I was wondering how that happened, too.  I sort of assumed that they would use refs from neutral conferences.

Of course part of me did wish that Missy had been sent to the first round action that was taking place in Nome, Alaska.  (I won't say the first round of what...)  I would not say that this game was officiated all that well.  True, there was an absence of obviously bad calls, but there were a plethora of very bad non-calls.  The announcers noted a few of them.  And I had such high hopes about the refereeing changes they announced at the beginning of the season...
