I think Alfieri prefers linebacker but might welcome the chance to get on the field earlier as a RB.

Hopefully he will show up next fall with no lingering effects from his injury.

P.S. Here is a long shot from my hometown. I met him the other day and he told me Stanford had showed some interest. He plays RB as well as LB.
