College football is very unpredictable.  Just when a team looks like its heading south, it surprises.  Just when a team looks good, it tanks.  You never know what is going to happen from week-to-week.  But I do know David Shaw has never lost two games in a row, Stanford doesn't lose at home, and UCLA hasn't won in NorCal since... Harbaugh's first game as Stanford HC.
