2)  Shaw's conservatism likely to cost us a game this year.  All we had to do was make one first down (actually there were about three of those instances), but on the last one a single pass completion somewhere in the truncated drive for first down would have been sufficient to run the clock. 
3)  #36 has got some 'splainin' to do in the film session.  His missed block let his man run Hogan to the outside and kept Hogan from turning upfield for the first down.
