And, as mentioned in an earlier post, Alan Lazzard (WR) is apparently scheduling a visit, so perhaps there is an outside shot at flipping him from Iowa State, though I believe he has a family connection there.

Does this sound about right to everyone? Did I miss anyone, or over- or under-estimate our chances with any of the players mentioned above?

I think we stand a better shot at Solomon Thomas and Kurt Holuba than you seem to think, while I'm not sure how likely we are to get Casey Tucker. We're also recruiting Jesse Burkett, an OL who's committing to Vandy but whom we stand a good chance of flipping. On the other hand, I very much doubt that we ever offer Mikah Holder, and I imagine that Lazard is more likely to flip to ND than to us.

I put Tucker where I did based on the fact that he once had us in his top 5, and after making that statement, he announced that he would not graduate early, per his earlier plan, and would,graduate on time with his class. I believe we were the only team in his top group that would not accept early admits.

I actually agree that Thomas seems really interested (thus, the "excellent shot" category) and seems like a "Stanford guy" from what I've read. But he's playing his cards so close to the vest...I have not heard or read a peep from Holuba. Have I missed something with him? Entirely likely.

Holder is pure speculation, based on family ties and not being clear why a guy headed to SDSU would be adding AP classes just days after bro verbals.  But who knows.
