I understand the subject header, but in reality it was, using an SC concept, an AMAZING day.

UCB - Lost by more than 2 TDs
UND - Lost by 2 TDs at home and fell out of the top 25
USC - Lost by more than 2 TDs, and their coach was fired.
Stanford - Won by more than 2 TDs.

Not sure a regular season day could get any better.

Even if SC gets the hunting jump on Texas, the Texas job is still so much better.  A coach looking to jump to the NFL in 3-5 years would be crazy to take the SC job because 2014 will be brutal and 2015 will feature a bunch of freshman on the field making the coaching look really bad.  A coach dreaming of the NFL by 2018 will have better opportunities (Texas, wherever the next Texas coach came from, etc.)
