This has to jump start recruiting this year and next. I'm sure there are players that regret passing up the opportunity to play with Luck.

This is my hope as well. The on-field impact of top QB prospects are highly uncertain. But if his signing can bring in a couple of top O-Line prospects or skill position players, then the impact is immediately tangible. 3 years from now, we could very well be asking "what if" after Chryst, Burns, or a 2015 top QB transfers after losing out in spring football and bemoaning the lost scholarship that could have gone to a non-QB. But if a top QB also brings in some other guys who stay, and solidify the team foundation, it's an offer well spent.

Who knows, maybe Chryst can put in a few calls to Mr. Peppers and talk him into remaining open to the idea of playing on The Farm and figure out a way to schedule that official visit.
