Lots of songs work with a 28 year old Springsteen (or Mick Jagger) out front and a great sound mixer on the board pulling him up out of the noise. But I've listened to a LOT of transplanted songs performed by the LSJUMB and the results aren't always good.  I think the low point was White Punks on Dope, a song that was high concept and seemed humorously self-satirical...but was a muddled musical mess by the time it made it from the field to the ears in the stands.
Basically, I want music that inspires us all to lop off Trojan heads and hold them up as trophies. ( I call first dibs on Lane Kiffin). Something that would sound great and taunt the Trojan fans as the band marched off the field and into an echoey Coliseum tunnel after another win .
I nominate something this, which if you listen to the scoring, would translate very well to the instrument "voices" in a college band. Got beat, drive and a groove you could see dancing to while on K.al's Mem. Stadium field. (I'd probably drop the first few vocal bars and get into the groove right off)
