The field at Sunken Diamond already has a name: Klein Field.
Stanford named the field about six years ago after Bud D. Klein, a Stockton businessman perhaps best known for inventing the "California Cooler" wine cooler. Klein played baseball, volleyball and football at University of the Pacific and Stanford. The clubhouse and press box are also named after him. Klein died in 2011.
