How does the scoring work? I found an online feed of the matches against Florida (http://www.ncaa.com/liveschedule/2013/05/20 - courts 7, 9 and 11, if you're interested), and it looks like one of the matches is Stanford 8 - Florida 3. The players shook hands at the conclusion of the last game, so did Stanford win that one?
The other scores in case you're wondering are Stanford 7 - Florida 3 (court 9) and Florida 5 - Stanford 3 (court 11).
For tennis scoring, the first school that reaches 4 points wins the overall match. The first three matches that are played are doubles. Each double match is a single set played to 8 (win by two and play a tie breaker if it gets to 8-8). The school that wins the two of the three doubles matches gets one point towards the overall score between the two schools. Winning all three doubles points still only gives a team one point in the overall team scoring. In the post season, the doubles round will just end after one school wins two of the doubles matches regardless of where the third doubles match is.
After doubles end, six singles matches are played. All the singles matches are best of three sets played to 6 (win by two and play a tie breaker if it gets to 6-6). Each singles match counts towards one point to the school. So if a school loses the doubles point, they need to win at least four of the six singles matches.
