One nitpick: Alex was behind both Jasmine and Amber as a freshman, not ahead. She was regarded as raw but with a lot of speed and potential. I know the AP story called her a former starter, but that was an error.

Thanks, CompSci, I double checked and you are right.  She played in only three games, and in all of them Amber and Jasmine had more minutes, and none of the three started in those games.

I saw the AP story and thought it jogged a vague memory, but it was probably of Jasmine starting games 5, 6, 7 and 8 last year--before injuring her foot right before the Tennessee game.  We are so used to Amber now that we could forget that Jasmine started 4 games before Amber started any.
