Ruby Sorra is representing Canada (with Molley McBain) in the FIVB Challenge event in Shangluo, China. They went 1-1 in pool and will move on to the elimination rounds. They beat a lower-seeded Chinese team, but lost to the Spanish pair, Izuzquiza/Moreno, formerly of TCU.
Alumna Xolani Hodel is also playing in this event, with her partner Hailey Harward. They went 2-0 in pool and will get a first round bye.
