Please please trade Chapman  Schmidt should be 3B

How does this sound?

- Move Schmidt to his natural 3B position. If you look at Rtot, it's his best position by a mile.
- Sign Luis Arraez to a long term contract.
- Keep Eldridge as the starter at 1B
- Trade a catcher, Chapman, Devers and Adames to either the Royals (for Bobby Witt Jr., #2 overall WAR at SS and Carter Jensen at catcher) or the Angels (for Zach Neto, #8 overall WAR) and pitching prospects, either Chourio and Shields (both Royals high-A or slightly lesser pitchers Lombardi/Arronde/Beam/Langevin) or Klassen (strong AAA starter) and another Angels pitcher . Both teams are terrible and need A LOT of help. Both teams have flat-out terrible 1B and 3Bs. If either gets Chapman, Devers AND Adames, they will improve their team considerably. Giants take back a big chunk of their compensation.
- OFs are Ramos, Bericoto and Lee
- Backups are Christian Koss in IF, Grant McCrary and Harrison Bader (still under contract for one more year) in OF

Per their contracts, Adames and Chapman have to agree before they can be traded.  The likelihood of that happening is somewhere between nil and 0.5%. 

Given the amount remaining on Devers’ contract, the likelihood of him being traded is even less.  

Ray and Arreaz (both on expiring contracts) remain the most likely to be dealt.

Why wouldn't Adames or Chapman agree to be traded to a contending team that needed them, especially with a nice bonus attached?
