Nice, jacketree. I thought about you when I heard this news story this morning.  Apparently this guy in Chicago surreptitiously recorded about 10,000 concerts in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s; many small local acts playing at his club but also stuff that I have heard of (Tracy Chapman, They Might Be Giants, Wilco, etc).  Anyways, the internet archive convinced him to digitize his collection and is hosting it in a project called “No Tape Left Behind”.

It’s the sort of thing I suspect many thread regulars would appreciate.
