Kiara Green 6-5 post from Oregon class of 2026 was at Stanford recently and was offerred  by Kate.
She decommitted from Howard in December
She posted all on instagram but I just spent 10 minutes searching and this seems real and current.
We do have an opening

Thanks, Bob. Kiara reportedly averagng 15.6 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 2.0 bpg (all per Howard U). She has a reported 4.0 GPA. 

Piecing things together from her IG account,Green received a slew of mid-major offers through last fall, but not one from Stanford even despite camping here last June. She then announced a commitment to Howard in mid-November, but subsequently decommited in late-December.  Kate then offered her ~ a week ago.  

Maybe I'm overthinking this but it sounds/feels to me like:

• Green jumped the gun on committing to Howard without knowing her Stanford admission status (awkward), +/-
  
• we're hedging our bets against any possible portal departures after this season to get a full (on paper) 2026-27 roster in place sooner rather than later, particularly after feeling the sting of whiffing on so many 2026 players this last recruiting cycle.
  

Not saying "it" all needs to be elegant, but this feels "not"....oh well, whatever works.

EDIT - Am I corrrecting in assuming that, as it stands, signing Green in this year's class would preclude TL from returning next season?

This seems pretty accurate and believable. I don’t see she has had any power 4 offers aside from Stanford? She did take visits to Oregon and Purdue but I don’t see offers were made from either school. Kind of weird… Can a player go that “under the radar” if they are really that good. Also can’t find any rankings on her or any real insight. Feels like this decision would be to just a fill a roster spot.
