How much does new $50M affect who we could get? 

assuming it is an endowment ~$2.5m/year.  As I recall part of the gift is to endow 4 or 5 scholarships which would be ~$100k/year/scholarship so $400k-$500k/year of the ~$2.5m leaving ~$2m to spend on whatever.

The press release mentioned first mentions "significant support for institutional NIL" and then the 5 new scholarships.

it did, but I would guess the gift will be used as an endowment not operating expenses so they'd have ~$2m/year to throw at NIL.  And the gift may show up in phases not all at once.
