When the NFL season is over, Shaw is going to be mentioned for almost every NFL opening. Why? Not only has he pulled off the Luck-free miracle, but he is a minority candidate. And per the Rooney Rule every NFL opening must include at least one minority candidate. Talking to Shaw would just be the easy thing to do.
That Rooney Rule stuff is a little scary, but I noticed at the Pac-12 CG that Shaw's kids got to sit at the post-game conference with their dad. That kid time and family oriented activity stuff will go away if he goes to the NFL. Can't put a price on that precious parenting time. Right?
