Sorra and Hodel each lost in the first round of the FIVB Montreal. Hodel (& Deberg) moved on to the Manhattan Beach Open (seeded 7th), and went 2-0 on Friday and will continue in the winner's bracket tomorrow.
Sorra went to the Canadian Beach Championship in Toronto. She (& Mikayla Law-Heese) went 2-0 in pool and will continue tomorrow.
Our other Canadian Ruby, Ruby Cochrane is also playing there. Teamed with Sophie Hancock, they went 1-1 and move on to tomorrow also.

Mikki Carlin (new freshman) went 1-1 in the qualifier.
Chloe Hoffman also 1-1 in the quali.
Avery Jackson & Brooke Rockwell went 0-1 in the qualifier.
Almuna Kate Reilly also 0-1.
OTOH, Charlotta Bell (& Erin Innskeep) went 3-0 in the qualifier and went 1-2 in the main draw (T 17th).
Kelly Belardi (& Natalie Myszkowski) also 3-0 in the quali, and 2-0 in the main, so will also play tomorrow.
If Belardi and Hodel both win their first matches tomorrow, they would meet in the fourth round of the winner's bracket.
