The pace of drone strikes has increased dramatically over the last 12 months, from about 500 to over 5000.

Indeed a bad time to stop shipping weapons. Unfortunately, even if we were still shipping weapons we have nothing to ship that will put a major dent in the drone barrage. Ukraine's F-16s are doing their best, but the number of planes (and especially pilots) are so inadequate they can only make a dent. Ukraine lost an aircraft and a pilot recently after he had taken down his seventh drone of the sortie. Apparently collided with some debris or possibly another drone. The F-16 can carry six missiles on "normal" weapons hardpoints. The last kill was probably with the gun. Easy to get too close. Sad really.

Yes, very sad indeed. Regrettably we have a history of getting involved and then baling out. From Vietnam to now there is no real reason for anyone to figure we will hang in for the end game.
