I made my purchase (or submitted my application via gostanford.com), got a confirmation, and my credit card was charged. However, the "receipt" I got makes it sound like I won't know til the 17th whether or not I have some tickets and I'm unwilling to make plans based on a 'Maybe.'

I'm in the same boat but I took it to mean you wouldn't know WHERE you were sitting until the tickets arrived after the 17th. Hope so, anyway. I'm pretty sure I have parking, though, so I'll have a dry place to listen to the game on the radio.
