Another 2-3 loss, this time to UCLA.

1. Boyd/Perez (UCLA) def Rockwell/Sorra (STAN) 2-1 (21-18, 13-21, 15-9)
2. Bell/Wilson (STAN) def Brennan/Myszkowski (UCLA) 2-0 (22-20, 21-18)
3. Alden/Brower (UCLA) def Belardi/Jackson (STAN) 2-1 (18-21, 24-22, 15-9)
4. Hoffman/Stowell (STAN) def Fernandez/Van Winkle (UCLA) 2-0 (21-15, 22-20)
5. Cooper/Moore (UCLA) def Morris/Vincent (STAN) 2-1 (21-18, 14-21, 15-13)

Stanford's wins at the 2s and 4s were 2-0.  The losses were 1-2.

I was hoping for better results, too, but it's the first weekend.  They are starting two true freshmen and four sophomores. 
Tomorrow should be a little easier, but no gimmes.

I wonder if/when we'll see Gubbins in competition?  And I wonder how Emmy Sharp is doing?
