It's worth heaping praise on the folks posting in this thread for keeping it (mostly) non-political, so that readers here can continue to get insights from people who are knowledgeable on subjects relevant to the conflict in Ukraine.  I regret that the So Cal fires thread required moderator intervention.  Hopefully we can do better on other Off-Topic subjects going forward.  I have lost interest in football over the years, both because of research on concussions and because my family takes up the free time I used to have for sports spectatorship.  But I still value this board and the people here.
