This war will be over soon. Ukraine is already acknowledging that it will accept a land for peace deal. Either Russia will accept that deal or Russia will fight to the death (Ukraine’s).

I strongly expect Russia will "fight to Ukraine's death". At this point there is no reason for them to do otherwise.

It must be said that in war, nothing is certain. This war  won't (IMO) end before February at the earliest. Ukraine is toast either way unless a miracle happens and Russia collapses or "the west" decides to prevent Ukrainian collapse by whatever means necessary. The US realized that letting Russia break the rule-based system of international relations would be a very serious blow to the world and to the US in particular. Unfortunately it appears that we have, yet again, abjectly failed to accomplish our mission.
