FWIW, Dykes in the opening remarks of his presser said Stanford ran an entirely new defensive scheme for which TCU had not prepared. Given that Phillips and Franklin did not show up on the stat sheet at all, I have to think that the general idea was to keep Bernadel and Sinclair as free from blockers as possible.
Was Mosley hurt? He did not play at all according to the stat sheet, which surprised me because TT had been pretty effusive in his praise for the freshman/spring enrollee.
