The Kursk offensive seems to be slowing, as it inevitably must, and soon this front seems likely to turn into another grinding battle. Can Ukraine force Russia to man that part of the front more robustly without Ukraine needing to maintain large elements of two brigades there? Can Ukraine somehow replicate what it accomplished in Kursk by using those two brigades in a new offensive on some other portion of the front line, or is the element of surprise destroyed because Ukraine already played that card once?
