MLB.com is reporting Soler and Luke Jackson to Atlanta. No information available yet on what the Giants are getting in return.

Terrific!  Sabin Ceballos and Tyler Matzek are headed to SF.

Sarcasm? Ceballos is the Braves 17th ranked prospect and Matzek is on the 60 day IL. Looks like Farhan is selling, and selling on the cheap. . . .

Nope.  I thought it was a great deal.  Dumping a couple guys who aren’t in the team’s plans for next season along with getting significant salary relief in 2025 (they have to get under the CBT limit, otherwise the penalties start to pile up) was exactly what SF should be doing at the trading deadline.  I am hoping for more trades today.

Update: It appears Luciano may be returning from Sacramento to be the DH as well as play in the field.
