This article implies that Lacob controlled negotiations with KT and that he fumbled the ball. I disagree, I think Lacob did this on purpose. I don't think he and/or the team wanted Thompson back at any price, given Thompson's substantial decline in skills. But they needed a palatable way to eliminate KT, one that wouldn't offend their fan base.

Listening to multiple talking heads on KNBR, while his play was one issue, his demeanor was another. One actually called him out as a "bitch". Ouch. Great persona to the fans, not so much in the clubhouse, allegedly. No clue if that's accurate, but the multiple accusations are telling. 

Wish him luck, and hope the W's can find somebody else to generate some interest alongside Steph, Dray, and K. That's K for Kuminga.

"Blunt and honest leadership style". Gobert punches Anderson, then retreats quickly. Gobert (two points in 13 minutes) had played very lackadaisical defense (see below) and Anderson (horrors) called him out on it.
