My introduction to Stanford was in maybe 1970 when my divorced mom was dating a Stanford prof and for some reason they brought me to the Flicks to see Easy Rider (an eye opener for a young kid!). I was enjoying the scene with paper airplanes flying around when, just before the movie started, two guys on choppers roared down one aisle and up the other. I remember thinking, wow, college seems like a lot of fun!

we had a Sunday FLiCKs motorcycle episode while I was in school during The Rocky Horror Picture Show, when one was also ridden up the aisle
