Ramos so far has done nothing to be sent down. Dunno what happens to Slater if Ramos continues to shine, and I'm also a Slater fan for the obvious reason.
Ahmed’s WAR = -0.1
Speaking as a big fan of Luciano, I want to see him starting every game at SS with Ahmed (once he is healthy) replacing him late in games in which SF has the lead.
Luciano has a very bright future with SF. The sooner he gets his feet wet at the big league level, the better it will be for him and the team.
He has the potential of being a .300 hitter with power.
There is a reason the Giants have finally come alive offensively - Matos, Ramos and Luciano….
When Slater returns, Ramos may be sent down. When Ahmed returns, I think Luciano will remain with the Giants. We shall see.
As for the base running blunder, a couple conversations with the coaching staff and/or peers will put that problem to rest. I don’t expect to see anything like that again.
Also a Luciano fan. He consistently hits the ball hard to every field. Only concerning thing is that his glove is occasionally at the wrong angle, like the missed DP yesterday, which leads to an error. That should have been corrected by now.
