It hurts to say it but I think Klay will be more valuable to other teams next year than he will be with the Warriors.
After surgery (and with added weight) he's slow and doesn't move well laterally. He often can't keep up with his defensive assignment. On some nights he can still fill the basket but it's not every night. If he's not shooting well he's a net liability. As one announcer said recently, "He needs to embrace the old Reggie Miller role and become a shooter off the bench that sometimes is inserted into the starting five."
That may come easier within a different team and his championship pedigree may also be more valuable to a team that hasn't climbed the mountain top. Maybe it's KLAY and not the Warrior's that needs to consider a sentimental discount. If he wants top dollar it will probably come elsewhere.
