It should be stressed that Ruef was the primary defender on Griner.  There was always help, of course, when she touched the ball.  Ruef did contributed quite a few times in ways that did not show up in the box score.  She was very physical and had a nose for the ball.

There might not be too many times that Tara can play Ruef, Chiney, and Tinkle together for extended periods, but this was one of them.

And it should be noted that Ruef only picked up two fouls for the entire 30 minutes she played.  Thirty minutes guarding Griner and only 2 fouls?  That is amazing.  Plus she was in position to pick up 12 rebounds.  Yes, I would give the game ball to Ruef.  (Do they give game balls in BB?)
