MM pushed it through the senate. Of course he’ll fight for it. The house bill will provide less funding. Of course he’ll argue against that. But if it ends up being 50 instead of 65, it’s still okay.

For sure 50 now is better than 65 after the election. The real problem going forward is that both Ukraine and the United States have to make a feasible plan to end this conflict with a Ukrainian victory. This victory can't be too far in the future either, as Ukraine can only endure the endless cost in blood and treasure. I am not sure that 50 "soon" is enough because I don't know what the plan is. However, I do know that if there is no plan there will be no victory.
