Another article of interest, on ESPN, their ranking of the 50 best WBB players in the Pac-12 since the conference began governing women's sports in 1986-87. Multiple Stanford players on the list, including Nnecka as #2 (Lisa Leslie at #2). Chiney is #6.

Some quick observations:
- agree with Leslie at #1
- "multiple Stanford players" is putting it mildly :-)
- what awesome post tandems we've been lucky to watch in the P12 - Leslie/Thompson, Nneka/Chimney, Appel/Pederson & now Cam/Kiki. Most formidable front line overall? I'll go with Stevens/Steding/Whiting
- No Milica Vukadinovich?!?!?

Yes, that first Stanford 89-90 NCAA championship post group should include 
Julie ZOELSTRA, so more like STEVENS/WHITING/ZOELSTRA/STEDING 
with STEDING playing more like their starting 3 during that scintillating season.    

For me, it's a tie for Stanford's best post group between that 89-90 dominant post group 
and the APPEL/PEDERESEN/Nneka OGWUMIKE triumvirate because playing together 
for two seasons in 08-09 and 09-10, the latter powered Stanford to 2 Final Fours,
while reaching the NCAA national championship game once. 

Individually, APPEL was part of 3 Final Four teams 
that went on to play in two National Championship games,
while both Nneka and PEDERSEN were part of 4 Final Four teams 
that went on to play in one National Championship game.

As a side comment, Stanford's 2nd NCAA championship team in 91-92
had WHITING as their featured post player but ably supported
in the post by then freshmen Rachel HEMMER (who was voted 
National Freshman of the year) and Anita KAPLAN.

And Stanford's 3rd NCAA championship team in 20-21
had freshman BRINK as their starting center but ably supported
in the post by BELIBI and PRECHTEL and Haley JONES
(who was their starting PF)
