Having just returned from a beautiful hacienda in the middle of Jalisco, Mexico, I am excited by our team’s finish at the top. My wife and I were huddled around our iPhones watching what our bandwidth would allow — the play-by-play portrayals of the Oregon games on the ESPN app. The Sling App didn’t have enough juice, so we had to settle for written words instead of moving images. 
This team has been such a pleasure to follow! The players, the coaches, the fans have been so special. Bob Kinder summed it up perfectly in reminding us to “enjoy the ride” which gets at the heart of the reason my wife and I love this team. Accolades, awards, and wins are something to cheer about. Effort, attitude, and the excitement of the moment are processes that produce real joy, and for this I am grateful to all of those whose efforts we celebrate.
