I think Hidalgo and/or Watkins would have fit fine at Stanford. Players that good generally find a way to fit in, and along with Cam, Hannah and Kiki, we’d be pretty near unstoppable. Sure, they probably wouldn’t be shooting as much, but they also wouldn’t have to. Think back to our team with Candice Wiggins, Jayne Appel, Kayla Pederson, Jillian Harmon & J.J. Hones et al.—they didn’t have much trouble gelling even with high talent at every position.
